The challenge

Community savings in Togo relied on agents collecting cash by hand, leaving savers with no real-time view of their money. VIAFINANCE wanted to take this model digital: let individuals, traders and craftspeople save daily, weekly or monthly from their phone, follow a 31-day savings cycle and access credit, while keeping a network of field agents and tight controls (KYC, roles, audit trail).

Our solution

KOF Corporation designed and delivered the whole ecosystem. A Flutter app combines the Client space (savings, Mobile Money deposits and withdrawals through PayGate, credit, card, PDF receipts, support chat) with the Agent space (member enrollment), and a single account can switch between the two. A FastAPI and PostgreSQL API handles authentication (WhatsApp OTP, PIN, biometrics, Google and Apple sign-in), payments, push notifications and scheduled jobs. A Next.js back office lets the team manage members, KYC review, agents, physical cards, credits and withdrawals, support, role-based admins and an audit log. A Next.js marketing site presents the offer, with its FAQ managed from the back office.
