The challenge

The client wanted a local alternative to the global rental platforms: verified listings, prices in CFA francs and Mobile Money payments. The product had to serve three audiences (guests, hosts and administrators) with a secure booking flow, from the initial request all the way to the host payout.

Our solution

KOF Corporation delivered the full ecosystem: a Flutter app combining the guest and host experiences, a FastAPI and PostgreSQL backend organised by business domain, and a Next.js back office wired to live data. The Request, Host approval, Payment, Confirmation workflow relies on FedaPay escrow payments, in-app identity verification (KYC) with camera capture, and scheduled jobs for check-in reminders and automatic release of funds. Everything runs on Coolify, with encrypted nightly backups of the database and uploaded files.
